We swim in the Mid-Kansas Swim League with:
Abilene, Council Grove, Herington, Hesston, Hillsboro, Marion, Moundridge, Newton, Peabody and Solomon.
2004 swim meets are Saturday mornings:
Jun 5 at Hesston against Herington - WE WON!!!!!!!!!! Official score: Lindsborg 657; Hesston 467; Herington 219!
Jun 12 at Peabody against Moundridge - We WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Apparently by 5 points

PUDDLE JUMPERS
Again this year we will have a group at the noon practice only for swimmers who are not able to cross the length of the pool using a competitive stroke. They will be known as the Puddlejumpers. As their swimming skills improve, they will be moved into the beginner group. Kristy Bergstrom and Robin Parker will work with the Puddlejumpers.
Remember to eat a good breakfast and bring water and fruit snacks.
Always eat after a race, rather than just before the next one.

Swimmer's Ear warning:
Watch for signs of swimmer's ear infections:
Ear ache, head ache and fever.
Suggested prevention: after swimming, apply ear drops as soon as possible.
Ear drop mixture: equal parts rubbing alcohol and vinegar.
Ear plugs are also useful if they keep water out.
There will also be a pool party at the Lindsborg pool 8-10 PM on June 17.
Practice times
Monday thru Friday, June 1 thru July 9
Early group: 11 AM most days (except Jun 14-25, and Jul 5-9 when practice will be held at 9 AM)
Later group: noon every day
All swimmers to arrive 10 minutes early for stretching.
Meet commitments due Tuesdays before each meet, except League meet committments due Thursday Jul 1.
The Awards Banquet will be Sunday, July 11, 5:30 pm at Messiah Church (potluck).
